• Question: Can you name all of the elements in the periodic table?

      Ha, I can do from Hydrogen (1) to Krypton (36), mainly because these are the elements most useful in the biological sciences that I have worked with, and I started learning them for a party trick once, but never finished memorising the rest. I can certainly name a good deal more elements, but just not in order.

      Have you heard the elements song though? It’s set to the tune of Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘Pirates of Penzance’ song (the Major-General’s Song). It’s quite old, but still funny. Have a listen:
