• Question: Do you like being a phd and if you do why.

      I do really like being a PhD student. It’s very different to being an undergraduate student. It’s a lot more work for one thing!

      I like that I control my work so I decide what experiments I’m doing each day and I work out what the results mean. If I need some help I’ve always got my supervisors or other people in my lab group for ideas.

      The best thing about a PhD is that your research has to be novel. This means that no-one has studied what you are studying ever before! Which is pretty exciting! 🙂
