      Hi Sarah 123,

      When things are going well I love what I do! So for example this morning I was talking to a collaborator in Spain about an experiment we are doing to together – we have lots of data (nearly 3/4 of a million DNA sequences) and were discussing how to analyse it to work out whether there were some new jumping genes in it…

      This was a lot of fun and we both got excited about the possible outcomes!

      There are some aspects of the job that are not too interesting (mostly University administration) but on balance I always look forward to coming to work, and love talking about and doing science!
