Question: Do you think the world will end soon and if so do you think that global warming will be the cause?

I don’t think that the world will end any time soon, I think it will most likely out-live the human race, and it make sustain some damage in the process, though it may well recover over the course of the many millions of years it still has.

I think, however, that many people, especially in the poorest countries in the world, will suffer greatly and needlessly due to climate change, and largely due to the large industrial nations.

I think each of us should be making an effort to respect the environment, and continue to try and show governments that we want them to take a stand and do what is necessary. However, there are a great many people out there who like their lifestyle, and can’t see how they would live without some of the things they have.

Yet there are communities, such as Freiburg in Germany, who manage huge residential areas with very minimal energy costs, and they manage to live in this way without having to lose so much from their lifestyle. It’s something we can all aspire to.
