I store the DNA in plastic tubes in a -20 degrees C freezer.

But I want to make a device that can store my DNA after I’ve copied it. I’ve not got up to this bit yet but an idea I’ve had is to make little wells that I can put the water droplets (containing the copied DNA) in. We could either disconnect this bit of device and put it in the freezer or we could attach cooling mats to this bit of the device that could freeze the droplets.

Hope that answers your question 🙂
