• Question: How does genetics point to design?

      Well this depends on who you talk to…but as a scientist I don’t believe genetics does point to design, it points to evolution.

      Evolution is not about design or about progressing towards a point. It is about random changes in organisms over time that mean that that organism either dies if it cannot survive in its environment or it does survive and so passes on its genes to the next generation. This means the next generation share some of its genes and so are also likely to survive in this environment and pass on their genes and so on thus increasing the population of organisms in this environment with these characteristics.
