Question: I also think that doing experiments is the most interesting and exciting thing to do in science! My question is; How will you make this device small enough ( or professional enough) to detect miniscule cells?

  Well the device is quite large, it’s 13cm long and 13cm wide. But the droplets (in which I will break cells open and copy their DNA) are 100nL! That’s pretty tiny. But it doesn’t matter about detecting the cells, hopefully with a camera I should be able to see them in the droplets, but all that matters is that I can break them open and copy the DNA.
  
  Other people do work on imaging and detecting single cells in these droplets and for that you need to label them with a dye that will glow and use a really powerful microscope. But it is possible!
