I think it’s silly to pick on anyone because they support a different team, or like something different.
Just say to people, imagine a world where everyone follows the same team, who would you play against? How boring would that be? There’s nothing wrong with being passionate about something, so long as everyone accepts that everyone else has the right to be passionate about their own thing. Diversity is a good thing 😉
It’s offside to bully anyone for anything, least of all which team you support. So as Jim says, stick to it – and besides, you can always reply to your bullies that Man U have quite a full trophy cabinet – that usually works for me 🙂
When I lived in England I supported West Ham. Green St Hooligans is one my favorite movies of all time! If you like manu go for it own it and don’t worry about what other people think. Being different and not being afraid to show off those differences is probably the coolest thing you can do.
Ps- you’re team is coming to the Boston area play against our team “New England Revolution”- and as a big soccer player/fan I’ll be at the game! Sorry I’ll be cheering for the Revs though!
I know that this isn’t my zone, but I support Liverpool, and I really feel your pain! stick with them though. Once you choose a team, they are yours for life!
