• Question: If animal genes happened to be very resistant to deformity or irregularities, should we still study genes?

      we should study everything. you never know what you’ll learn or how what you learn in one area could spark an idea in another. And in regards to your question if a certain animal seemed to be resistant to a particular disease or irregularity I’d say all the more reason to study it- we should find out why it’s so resistant and see if we can utilize something like that for other systems!
