      Well, as much as I love reading about the romans, and go on archaeological digs to investigate roman remains, it’s a funny question for the Genes Zone 😉

      I’m not really sure- I think they were big meat eaters.. so I’m going to guess their diet was rich in protein 😉

      To be honest I have no idea although there was a tv program about it a while ago but I’ve slept since then…lol.

      Not very well informed about Roman diets, but I think I read that they imported rabbits and edible snails to Britain… Unfortunately only the rabbits hung on. Pity because I do like a nice garlicky snail!
