• Question: what intrests you about genes?

      Hi sdot2k11,

      I think the thing that gets me all fired up about genes is the idea that they are like a little set of plans or blueprints hidden within a cell – the results of following the plans is a whole organism like you or me!

      Also the fact that something as simple as a string of Gs, As, Ts and Cs can be the instruction book for something as complicated as a human (or a mouse or a dragonfly) is just mind blowing!
