Either House or Dexter but I think I’ll have to go with House! 🙂

Yes, I think House is brilliant. I also like the original CSI, but at times it is rather unrealistic (not that House is especially realistic, but I like Hugh Laurie’s character).

I tend to be quite critical about science TV shows – there is nothing wrong with science fiction, writers should be free to play with different ideas – but there are always parts of these shows that also include known science facts, and sometimes they get them so terribly wrong that I get frustrated, lol. I just keep thinking – come and ask me, I’ll tell you how you’re supposed to hold that particular tool! 😉

I really like “bang goes the theory” – I like to watch with my kids because it focusses on trying to do experiments to show scientific principles. Its also realistic in that sometimes the experiments don’t work too well and the presenters take time to explain why that might be, rather than just present everything as “proved”.

Mythbusters is also great, especially when they build machines to test “urban myths” The engineering and the opportunity to test scientific ideas is something I find endlessly fascinating…

Big bang theory is hilarious! It’s smart, it’s funny and Sheldon is ridiculously awesome.
