Question: Why would you spendthe money on making people a scientist for a day? Is It because you think that it will promote science in the next generation?

  Great question!
  
  Yes I hope so. The other thing is I didn’t know what it would be like to be a scientist until I had done all the work and actually became one. Science is quite different in the “real” world than it is at school so I can imagine even people who don’t like science at school will like “real” science.
  
  I’d also like to give some of you the opportunity to meet and talk to other scientists face to face.
