• Question: Would it be complicated for other scientists to use your device?

      Hopefully not. This is really important and something I try to keep in mind. I don’t want to make something really clever and complicated that only I can use. I try and make the device as automated as possible. That means that a person has to do as little as possible. At the moment all I have to do is put the tubing that feeds into the device into my pot of DNA and press go on the computer. Then I come back a few hours later and put a pot under the tube that comes out of my device and collect the copied DNA….easy! 🙂
