  I’m not a registered organ donor, just a blood donor.
  
  It depends on your religious views and personal beliefs but I think I probably would. I’d rather donate my organs to someone who needs them first but donating them for scientific research is also a worthwhile cause.

  I personally wouldn’t, but I have a friend who wants to donate their body to the Body Farm (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_farm), rather macabre – though undoubtedly important – research.
